Suara Indonesia Dance Group performs at various public events including national and international festivals.

Suara Indonesia Group is also happy to take on the role as an opening or supporting act.
We can also provide public workshops at festivals for all ages ranging from kids to adults.

  • ASILE Conference - National Indonesian teachers conference at St Catherine's School in Waverly, Sydney-Conducted a workshop for Indonesian teachers encouraging dance and movement to be incorporated into language learning and also performed at the opening night

  • Festival Nusantara (Brisbane) performed and conducted Acehnese body percussion workshops for visiting schools from around Brisbane
  • EarthSpirit Women's Festival (Blue Mountains NSW) performed and conducted Acehnese dance workshops for both adult and children.

  • The Yogyakarta International Arts Festival in Bantul, Yogyakarta - Choreographed and performed "Broeh", performed at PPPG Kaliurang for Vincent Gough and Agung Gunawan's collaborational opera as "Matahari", Yogyakarta, Indonesia
  • The AsiaThree International Festival- Choreographed and performed "Broeh" in Kaliurang, Yogyakarta
  • Jakarta International Wayang Festival, Jakarta and at Garasi Theatre, Yogyakarta, Indonesia

January:

  • Gang Contemporary Arts Festival Chippendale, Sydney - Choreographed and performed "Buah Kemanusiaan" and performed a collaborative dance piece titled "DIS-EASE" with Wei Zen Ho and Jade Dewi Tyas Tunggal
